Safety Officer & Occupational Physician Services Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Officer & Occupational Physician Services Manager to oversee department operations, manage our nationwide network of Safety Officers and Occupational Physicians, and ensure the delivery of high-quality OSH services. This role involves strategic planning, client management and team leadership, driving compliance, innovation, and excellence in safety and health practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the nationwide Safety Officers and Occupational Physicians network, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services aligned with legal and organizational standards
- Implement client service contracts, recruit and select external partners for client projects, and oversee their performance
- Collaborate with clients to resolve inquiries, address complaints, and provide expert advice on OSH laws and regulations
- Monitor team and external partners’ performance using KPIs and ensure departmental alignment with business objectives
- Ensure the compliance of all associates with internal processes and procedures, especially on the use of Ergonomia’s digital services and applications, to deliver up-to-date and high quality OSH services to the customer.
- Train and guide internal staff and external partners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Drive contract renewals and profitability by promoting superior service quality and innovative solutions
- Stay informed on legislative matters and industry trends to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices
Experience & education required:
- Degree (MEng) preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in all types of industries, including medium to high-risk ones
- Excellent knowledge of OSH legislation and familiarity with Quality Management Systems
- Further post graduate education, trainings and certifications relevant to Occupational Health & Safety will be considered an asset
Skills:
- Proficiency in English and strong digital competency skills (Office 365 applications, mobile applications, CRM-ERP software, reporting tools etc.)
- Solid analytical and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities
