Machinery Safety - Warning Labels Study

The user of machinery (company) and the manufacturer are obligated to provide all the necessary information regarding its safe operation. According to P.D. 395/1994 & P.D. 57/2010 (EU Directives 2010/42/EC & 2009/104/EC respectively) machinery should be equipped with the appropriate safety signs (labels), informing the users for unsafe situations, areas and equipment.

The labels shall:

• Provide sufficient information
• Be readable
• Be protected against environmental conditions
• Have the appropriate dimensions.
• Comply with the international standards
